ALL COMPETITIONS AND PRIZE DRAWS
(a) Competitions and prize draws are open to Pocket Money readers who are UK residents. No purchase necessary. Competitions and prize draws are not open to employees of John Brown Group or The Royal Bank of Scotland group of companies, their families or anyone associated with these competitions or prize draws.
(b) One entry per competition per person. Entries must be online at www.natwest-pocketmoney.com or on the official entry form in the Autumn 2011 issue of Pocket Money. Entries are not returnable. They, and the copyright for them, become the property of the promoter. Postal entries must be submitted to Pocket Money Competitions, PO Box 2080, Watford, WD18 8ZL and be received by midnight on 28 February 2012. The exception is the web exclusive competition - A family experience at London's O2 arena - which closes at noon on 9 March 2012.
(c) Entries not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible will be disqualified. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post. Proof of posting or completion online will not be accepted as proof of entry.
(d) Prize(s) for each competition will be awarded to the entrant who correctly answers the question and who, in the judges’ opinion, writes the most apt and original tie-breaker. Each competition will have a separate judge. For the Reader’s Survey Prize Draw, the winner will be drawn at random on 6 March 2012. The prize is one laptop computer. The laptop make and model may vary from that shown. The survey can only be taken online at www.natwest-pocketmoney.com. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
(e) The competition prizes are as follows. Xbox 360 plus game: One of Xbox 360 console plus a copy of the Disney Universe game for Xbox 360. Metal detector: One of three metal detectors. The metal detector make and model may differ from that shown. Win the ultimate present package: One winner will receive: A copy of Gulliver's Travels on DVD, a copy of Jamie’s Great Britain cookbook, a set of fashion accessories and a £25 Amazon gift voucher. Rapidough board game: One of 10 Rapidough board games. Agatha Parrot and The Murderous Maths of Everything Books: Ten winners will each receive one copy each of Agatha Parrot and The Murderous Maths of Everything. Dangermouse 30th Anniversary DVD box set: One of five Dangermouse 30th Anniversary DVD box sets. Adopt a bird and Rio DVD: One bird adoption pack from Birdworld plus a copy of Rio on DVD. Nintendo Wii and Phineas and Ferb game: One Nintendo Wii plus a copy of Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension. The prizes are not transferable and no cash or other alternatives are available. The promoter makes no guarantee about any aspect of the quality and performance of the prizes. Colour/model/description may vary from prize shown. Star Letter: The prize offered to the winner of the star letter is £200 worth of Halford vouchers, to be used for any BMX bike worth up to £159.00 and the remainder £41 specifically for cycle accessories. The editor’s decision is final as to who is chosen as the star letter, and no correspondence will be entered into. Correspondence which is delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible will not be considered. Letters are not returnable. They, and the copyright for them, become the property of the publisher/promoter. By sending us correspondence, we will assume that you are happy for it to be published in the magazine and online – unless you specifically state otherwise. The web exclusive competition: Two winners will each receive a family experience at the O2 arena in London.
The prize is entry for two adults and two children to the O2 arena,
exclusive backstage access, entry to the British Music Experience, use
of the Co-operative Jam Studio, photographs of the experience plus
travel costs up to a maximum of £25 per person. The event will take
place on Sunday 18 March 2012. This is a fixed date and winners who are
unable to attend will not be rescheduled. The competition closes at noon on Friday 9 March 2012 and winners will be notified the
same day. Prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed. The judgeʼs decision
is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entries must be submitted online at www.natwest-pocketmoney.com and are
not returnable.
(f) Winners will be informed by letter, phone or email within 14 days of closing date. The winner’s name and county of residence will be available by telephoning 020 7565 3216.
(g) The winners agree to take part in publicity in connection with this competition. This may include their name, age and county of residence in a future edition.
(h) If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winners, the promoter will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winners for having done so.
(i) The promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion without prior notice.
